Amrita Sen - oil price can hit 60 dollars early 2017
Amrita Sen, Chief Oil Analyst at Energy Aspects, believes oil prices could hit 60 dollars a barrel as early as the second quarter of 2017. Why? OPEC will honour the cuts agreed on 30 November, led by Saudi Arabia, who has realised it needs higher global oil prices in order to induce domestic transition and to prevent a severe supply crunch in the coming years.
Statoil’s John Knight chairs Conference Committee for ONS 2018

A questionnaire done just after ONS 2016 confirms ONS is the place to connect with others in the industry: Nine out of ten exhibitors say they made new contacts. And a staggering 92 % of the visitors say they will come back for ONS 2018!
Newly started Norwegian company Safe Yards has entered into a partnership with Dutch yard Keppel Verolme after meetings at ONS 2016. Together they compete for a contract on Statoil’s Johan Sverdrup project.

Norwegian Petroleum Directorate/Ministry of Petroleum and Energy were appointed winners for stands 50 square meters or larger, while Vestteknikk were selected winner for stands smaller than 50 square meters.
