After the Scale-Ups portal closed last week there was a total of 40 applicants for our new venue at ONS 2022. It has not been an easy job to narrow down and choose, but at the end we are left with total of 16 companies that we want to welcome to the Scale-Ups arena.

Scale-Ups in short
- An arena especially for start-up and scale-up companies
- Opportunity to engage with potential new investors, customers, or partners
- Participants can pitch their products to a world-wide market and audience
We are super excited to welcome the 14 Scale-Ups companies to exhibit and showcase their next generation technology and solutions, at the new ONS Scale-Ups venue for ONS 2022 in August. The interest has been overwhelming, and we want to thank everyone who filed an application with us. Exciting companies from all over the world have applied, stretching from Australia, Canada and Norway. They show a vast range of new, innovative services and products – which is exactly what we wished for when creating the Scale-Ups arena.
Unique opportunity
The ONS Scale-Ups committee Chair, Marcus Hølland Eikeland had the following comment to the number of applications:
“I think two years of social distancing combined with a rapidly changing regulatory environment for climate action has created a wave of companies that is now looking for pilots, customers and investor dollars. And the ONS Scale-up venue will be a perfect place to be chasing any of these.”

The Scale-Ups venue in Hall 4 is open to all visitors and participants with the unique opportunity to meet energy companies, both operators and suppliers, digital frontrunners, logistics companies and others from the broader energy industry.
