50 Years of Standing Out: TESS and Mento at ONS
As we gear up to celebrate ONS' 50th anniversary in August 2024, we welcome longstanding participants such as TESS and Mento. Since the first ONS 1974 you have been able to find the two companies in the ONS exhibition, a tradition worth celebrating!
"Customers expect to meet us in the same place as always. This is like 'speed dating,' and following up on leads gives us plenty of new opportunities," says Sven Erik Sandsmark from Mento.
Changes through the decades
Since its inception in 1971, Mento AS has been a stalwart presence in the oil and gas industry, evolving from a traditional supply house to a specialised provider of filtration, hoses, valves, and drilling equipment.
With a focus on sustainable energy solutions, Mento is poised to take a position in the transition to renewable sources like offshore wind, hydrogen, and ammonia production. Their dedication to serving diverse sectors, including aquaculture, underscores their versatility and adaptability in a rapidly changing market.
TESS's Dynamic through Show and Tell
For over four decades, TESS has been an integral part of ONS, captivating audiences with their dynamic exhibition stands and innovative product demonstrations.
Led by marketing and exhibition expert Eve Åshaug Jacobsen, TESS consistently delivers engaging experiences for attendees, leveraging strategic stand placements and interactive displays to maximise impact.
By showcasing a diverse range of offerings, from technical solutions to unmanned inventory systems like TESSgate, TESS continues to set the standard for excellence in the industry.
“It’s always high spirits and good energy!”, remarks Jacobsen.
A Vision for the Future
In 2024 ONS prepares to mark its milestone 50th anniversary with the contributions of companies like TESS and Mento yet again.
“We are honoured to have stayers such as these coming back and truly using the network arena we aim to create in the best possible way, “ says Jon Are Rørtveit, VP & Commercial Director at ONS.
With a shared commitment to innovation, sustainability, and collaboration, these companies are poised to shape the future of the energy industry for generations to come.
