Practical information
ONS Young is a conference and networking arena with content for different target groups.
Participation is free of charge for students, pupils, apprentices and young professionals (under 35 years old). You are also welcome to visit the impressive ONS Exhibition - free of charge.
Please note that the networking event Young Professionals Arena requires a fee for participation.
University Days
The energy industry offers a wide range of opportunities, and University Day at ONS is designed to help you discover where you might fit in.

Young Professionals Arena
At ONS, we understand the value of building strong professional relationships. This event combines an inspiring keynote or a panel debate with informal networking with other Young Professionals.
Food and drinks will be served, all in the backdrop of an informal atmosphere at DNB Arena! After the event, we'll head down to Stavanger Harbour together for ONS+ where you can enjoy the ONS Concert, the debates and join in the after-parties.
P.S. Consider asking your employer to cover the cost of this ticket – many are willing to do so. The event is available for young professionals under the age of 35.

VGS Energy
Students in upper secondary school/high school (VGS) are invited to VGS Energy. The programme will be held mainly in Norwegian and is free of charge. Teachers are welcome to accompany their classes.
VGS Energy provides conference sessions targeted at pupils and aimed to explore a range of energy and climate related topics.
You will learn about sustainability, energy, technology and leadership – and have the chance to meet industry leaders, inspiring speakers and enthusiastic young professionals who can share valuable insights to help shape your path.
And remember, you do not need any prior knowledge to benefit from attending VGS Energy. Teachers are responsible for registering their students for this event. Schools are encouraged to sign up to secure their place. Registration gives access to visit the Exhibition as well.

Young Innovation Camp
Student enterprises from several middle schools in the Stavanger region compete in front of four juries in pursuit of honour, glory and the grand prize of NOK 10 000.
Second and third place will also receive cash prizes for their achievements. The competition begins when the pupils receive the task on Tuesday 25 September, and the nerve-racking final takes place on the largest stage at ONS on Thursday 27 September. The participants will also get a tour of the ONS exhibition.
The juries are made up of experienced professionals from across the energy industry. Young Innovation Camp is organised in collaboration with Ungt Entreprenørskap Rogaland.
