ONS, held in Stavanger from the 26th to the 29th of August, is one of the world's leading conferences and exhibitions for the energy industry. The increase in flight departures is specifically arranged to accommodate the high demand associated with the event.

New round trips from SAS include:

  • 25 extra departures between Oslo Airport (OSL) and Stavanger, including upgrades to larger aircraft
  • 10 extra round trips between Bergen and Stavanger
  • 7 extra departures between Copenhagen Airport (CPH) and Stavanger, including upgrades to larger aircraft
  • 5 extra departures between Aberdeen Airport (ABZ) and Stavanger
  • 2 extra departures between London Heathrow (LHR) and Stavanger

ONS CEO Leif Johan Sevland is very pleased that it will be easier to travel to Stavanger during ONS.
