ONS Young Leaders Talent Programme 2024 Celebrates Final Milestone

After months of dedication and development, the ONS Young Leaders Talent Programme 2024 has concluded with several appearances at the ONS Conference & Exhibition.

Across four inspiring gatherings covering debate, organizational psychology, leadership, and presentation techniques, this year's participants put their new skills to the test at the ONS conference. Stepping into speaker and moderator roles, they confidently presented in front of industry professionals, marking a significant milestone in their leadership journeys.

Sponsored by DNO Norge, the programme received enthusiastic feedback, with many participants particularly praising the insightful sessions with Bjørnson Organisasjonspsykologene. The combination of hands-on experience and expert guidance left them inspired and ready for the future. 🌟

Throughout the conference, the participants impressed in various sessions:

  • Jenny Mazarino, Tiril Konow, and Mari Skjærpe led sessions for high school students on green energy. Mazarino and Konow discussed offshore wind, while Skjærpe focused on carbon capture and storage (CCS).
  • Jairo Alexander Diaz Lopez engaged students with his presentation on "Oil and Gas in The Energy Mix."
  • Jan Vidar Ulveseter presented to students on "Technology and Innovation."
  • Kàtia Nelson Costa Biquiza moderated the "What is the Green Shift?" session and contributed to the "Time for Leadership" discussion at the ONS Conference.
  • Monika Maria Dyrendahl addressed high school students on the topic, "What Does the Green Shift Really Mean?"
  • Mahad Nadeem Janjua played a central role, moderating the "GEN AI" session, participating in the tech talk "Gen Z: They Still Want to Work in Oil and Gas?", and delivering a technical presentation on the potential of generative AI in the energy industry.

The programme has empowered these talented young leaders with the confidence and skills to excel. We look forward to seeing how they shape the future of the energy sector!
