We are really looking forward to welcome the wind industry to Stavanger March 12", says Birger Haraldseid, Project manager for High Wind.

The conference is created by Stavanger Business region, ONS, Stavanger Chamber of Commerce and Norwegian Offshore Wind, and gathers audience and speakers from across the value-chain.

From Wind Europe, Philip Cole, Director of Industrial Affairs shares their views on the bigger picture for offshore wind, and the programme further dives into the gap between political ambitions and the actual capacity in the supply chain.

As projects in the United Kingdom, Germany, Norway, Netherlands, and many more are unfolding we see new challenges arise within coexistence, but also within technology. Further investments create ripple effect across the value chain, influencing education, training, production, and cross-border policies — a focal point of this year's High Wind conference program.

Egersund Energy Innovation Training and Educational Centre

Following the conference on 12 March, attendees can join an excursion to the Egersund Energy Hub on 13 March, visiting the Egersund Energy Innovation Training & Education Centre for presentations and panel debates on energy innovation, competence, education, and HSE in international collaborations. Registration is open for both the conference and the excursion, with special discounted prices for students. Last year, almost 400 people participated in High Wind, including 40 students from various universities.

We are so excited to invite the wind industry to Egersund to learn more about how we secure competence and enough people to build this industry. And we are promised exciting demos, says Haraldseid.
