Best stand finalists 2024

We are excited to announce the finalists for the Best Stand Award at ONS 2024!

Through the ONS Best Stand Awards, we recognize exhibitors that stand out. There are two awards in this category, one for exhibition stands larger than 50 sq. m., and one for those smaller than 50 sq. m. The jury nominates five exhibitors in each category before the final announcement of the winners.

Stand booths larger than 50 sq.m.

Aker BP

Aker BP

With pink t-shirts and industrial material choices, Aker BP seeks attention as self-proclaimed rebels in action. The stand is eye-catching and provocative at the same time. The stand crew shows that they are a united team working for the common goal of delivering.

There is a very high level of activity at the stand booth, similar to the company’s development projects on the Norwegian continental shelf. They also allow themselves to play with this year's ONS theme Imagine in a slightly provocative way with the message "We don’t imagine. We act!»

Lyse

Lyse

It is impossible not to be curious about Lyse's stand booth! The huge battery in the middle of the stand illustrates the essence of the advantages of hydropower in an intuitive and efficient way.

The stand includes mountains and waterfalls and demonstrates how upgraded hydropower plants give more power by pumping water back up to the reservoir when there is a surplus of energy in the market, and stored for scarcer times.

The technology is effectively communicated by committed and competent personnel at the stand. Scenic pictures from the area, real stones and plants reinforce the feeling of contact with nature.

Petoro Stand

Petoro

Petoro tries to find creative solutions to challenges in the offshore business, even if “it’s complicated”, as they state on the wall. They draw a playful parallel to the folk tale about Askeladden's demanding journey towards Soria Moria with an interpretation of Th. Kittelsen's famous painting as the focal point. This metaphor underlines Petoro’s approach to the green transition.

The motif is reproduced using countless Rubik's cubes.Natural materials and a warm colour palette makes the stand subtle and elegant in all its simplicity. The crew conveys the message in an exemplary way.

Sval Energi

Sval Energi

Hello future! When you walk through the giant pink door you are warmly welcomed by knowledgeable and dedicated staff. It is a homely and colourful universe they invite you into, furnished with Sval’s office furniture.  

The company highlights that future opportunities are knocking. Visitors are welcomed to imagine the next steps forward. Sval energy is a young energy company that appears at ONS as both fresh and informal.

World Wide Wind

World Wide Wind

The abbreviation www takes on a new meaning when you visit the World Wide Wind stand. This start-up company has a 6-metre model of a prototype wind turbine with two rotors that going separate directions.

The model immediately catches the eye and interest on a white and open stand. The attentive and committed stand personnel are quick to engage in talks about the company's ambitious plans to revolutionise floating offshore wind.

Beerenberg

Beerenberg

Rust is what Beerenberg's robots are set to combat, and rust also characterises the stand — in a well-thought-out and creative way. Sleek, open, and inviting, with robots at work that spark curiosity and encourage conversations and storytelling about the company and its products. The combination of elegant rust, digital surfaces and physical objects is presented here in a very convincing manner.

DeepOcean

DeepOcean

When you dive into Deep Ocean's stand, you really get the feeling of being deep underwater. This sophisticated and subtile stand, under the green-blue fringes, convincingly demonstrates high-tech solutions for monitoring underwater installations. Competent and engaged employees communicate the benefits of their technological solutions through conversations and a game.

ELA Container Offshore

ELA Container Offshore

Simple living! By stacking two containers on top of each other, ELA Container efficiently demonstrates its product. They offer purchase or rental of containers for ships, platforms or construction sites.

The stand is – like the product – minimalist and straight-forward. Nevertheless, it succeeds in raising interest and standing out from the crowd. The staff at the stand provides information about the products and their versatility in a knowledgeable manner.

NOFO

NOFO (Norsk Oljevernforening for operatørselskap)

NOFO has made excellent use of the limited space on their clean and tasteful stand. The stand has a clear and cohesive theme. Furniture made of reused lens material effectively conveys their message, "For the sake of the ocean."

The stand crew demonstrates impressive knowledge of all aspects of the design process, creating a credible and informative experience. They have also successfully engaged visitors in a playful way by using informative graphic elements and a virtual reality showcase. Altogether these elements make the stand both engaging and memorable.

Safety Tools Allmet

Safety Tools Allmet

SafetyTools Allmet fully embodies the slogan 'show, don’t tell'. With enthusiasm and convincing engagement, they demonstrate the “cool” benefits of their product.

At their rather modest stand, the employees grind steel and allow visitors to experience the effect of their unique tool firsthand.
